Wednesday Oct 15-Free Day?

In the middle of the week we decided we should dedicate a day to relaxing. Hanging out at the beach and anything else we may want to do. This day turned out to be just as much running as the rest. Free my butt!

We went to Laguna Beach to see the Ocean. It was amazing! So beautiful! These pictures look like a postcard to me...I can't believe how pretty everything was!

My mistake was taking the kids to breakfast with no plan. I should have put their swimsuits under their clothes---and really debated it. Bailey even asked. In the end I am too much of a planner. I wanted to go to breakfast with the rest of the group and find out what their idea of a free day entailed. We all knew the beach fit somewhere in there. By the time we finished breakfast, housekeeping was already in our room. So we just grabbed a few things and headed down. No one had their suits, so we didn't spend as much time as we would have liked at the beach. A little over an hour. The kids were talking about the beach the rest of the trip. I was shocked at how much they enjoyed it. Who can blame them, it was wonderful!

Between the heat and all the running, we were really tired. We did manage to get a nap in this day. That made me and the grandparents VERY happy. Afterwards we went swimming, this time in the pool.

After dinner, the kids were wide with excitement for the next day. We couldn't have them energized :) so we went to Downtown Disney. Which is kind of like an outside shopping mall between the 2 parks.

My parents bought the girls all babies. And Landon a Pirate toy set.

There was a store that the 2 older girls LOVED. We spent probably 15 minutes walking through it. The whole time we heard songs from Hannah Montanna, Jonas Brothers, Hilary Duff, etc. They were hard to drag out...

I love catching my parents being affectionate. 30 years and still very much in love!

The day ended with a pose---go figure. Courtney planned this perfect! She counted, and I was to snap right on 3. Worked out well....good job Courtney!
