HAPPY BIRTHDAY GRANDPA!!!
Fun for us we got to have 2 birthdays this week! He didn't get any cool nicknames like Tayler, but he did get just as many Happy Birthday Wishes. I love that Disneyland does this!
We chose this day to be our Magic Morning and we were able to get into the park an hour before it opens. However, you only get access to about 3 parts of the park, and share it was 1000's of other Magic Morningers.
We started it out with a long line ride...Dumbo. And imagine, here is Courtney posing again.
We were able to get in Big Thunder Mountain before the park opened also.
Now you may notice that we are all in the same shirts. This is something my mom does. She loves it, you don't argue, you just agree. She likes to have everyone in the same Disney shirt each day. A group of 9 is hard to please when picking out shirts. So the boys were in the same one, the ladies in a different one, the girls in the same one, and then Landon in his very own Pirates.
This morning we ran right into Pooh Bear and Eeyore and were able to get more autographs and photos!
And then on to Splash Mountain!
You can not ride in the front if you are not over 5 feet. No one was upset on missing out on that after we seen the leaders of the boats after the ride. They were soaked! We left the park not too long after that for lunch and to let the kids nap. We found that if we do that, we don't have to carry them out of the park in the end.
When we returned, Donald Duck was right inside the front gate. Donald was my favorite character to watch the kids with. He threw such a fit about signing 4 autograph books. He was jumping around, kicked the wall, threw Courtney's book at her and kept sighing and quacking up a storm. Very much just as you would expect Donald to be.
At this point we still hadn't seen Toon Town, so we jumped on the train and rode it to our next destination.
Roger Rabbit was a fun ride for the kids. They really enjoyed the rides where they could interact, such as driving.
What I like about Toon Town is all the fun photo opps. And my kids are so willing to pose!

We were also able to find Mickey Mouse!
As we left Toon Town, we passed Pirates and had to ride this again. Landon finally knew what he wanted to spend his souvenier money on. He hadn't asked for one thing up to this point. A Pirate's Sword, Gun and Hook!
Landon's most favorite riding buddy was Cody. He told him all about everything. By this time we had ridden Pirates 3 times. He narrated the whole thing to Cody. Don't worry, you will see Capt. Jack Sparrow 2 more times....Don't worry, Cody, it isn't really raining....Are you ready for this Cody, PIRATES!....this kind of stuff. It turned out to be the best part of the ride for us adults. To listen to that.
