HAPPY BIRTHDAY TAYLER!!!
What a lucky little girl to spend her 7th birthday actually in Disneyland! We started the day with breakfast at the hotel. Courtney asked the waiter if they did anything for birthdays. I don't think they normally do, but he did in this case.
As we walked to the park that morning Grandma Colorado called to make sure and wish her a Happy Birthday. Notice the pin on her shirt. You wear that and everyone in the park gives those same wishes for the day. Made her feel very special! She was walking on air pretty much the whole day.
Between the tiara, and the pin it didn't take long for the park to give her a name. Everywhere we went they kept calling her Birthday Princess.
I LOVE this picture. I wasn't kidding when I said before that dressing the part is one of the best things! Here are my parents after shopping that morning.
Snow White's 7 dwarfs and the wishing well.
Grandma Kelly's most favorite ride! Peter Pan!
These kids tried so hard to get the Sword from the Stone...I really did wish them luck! However since the sword is in the same place it was from when I was a kid trying the same stuff with Derek and Cody, I was pretty sure it wasn't going to budge.
Another Toy Story shooting game, not as fun as the other one, but Landon got to go on a ride and shoot a gun. Disneyland knows just how to please a 4 yr old boy!
Nathan gave Tayler the choice for dinner on her birthday. She wanted steak. How do you tell her that Disneyland is already bleeding our wallets dry? So steak tacos at Jack in the Box it is. Hey, she had no idea it was more like spam than steak!! ha ha
We got back to the park just in time for the Parade of Dreams.
The whole day was really good for Tayler. But I don't think you could top this part. Ariel at the top of the float in the middle of the parade looks down at her and says....Oh, Happy Birthday! She was literally BEAMING from ear to ear!
She was also told by Alice from the Wonderland Happy Happy birthday, to you!
This is just a cute picture. My dad bought the kids flashlights with Mickey Mouse on them. As we stood in line to ride the Autopia Cars, Landon examined his "drivers license" with it.
Bailey and Cody while standing in that same line. I wondered what they were whispering about right before I snapped that picture!
We had buddies each day. Each kid was assigned an adult. This is who you rode with that day. Plus while we wandered the park, you held their hand and they were in charge of you. This helped me SO much! I can't imagine trying to keep track of 4 kids in a very busy Disneyland! This day I was with Tayler, so lucky me....she got to drive. She wasn't very good ha ha
