On this day we had scheduled a zip line tour. Both Bailey and Nathan were hesitant because they were afraid of heights. The deal was they would do the zipline tour and in exchange I would do the whale watch tour. I think as the day arrived they were rethinking their deal (I know I was when Thursday came and it was boat time).
Oh I am so scared face LOL!
Getting our gear on.
And then it was a short tram ride to the location. So exciting!
The first zipline and as nervous as they are, they are troopers!
Bailey was even the first to go in our group!
AND away she went!!!
Then it was Nathan
At this point they have realized that wasn't bad at all, totally safe and FAST and SOOOOO fun! They loved it!
Nathan is even chilling on the next one and really having a good time
Bailey is such a poser, EVEN on the zipline high up in the air! Go Bailey!
Once landed you had to crawl up the plank. Lucky for me the tour guides were there to help, I had trouble landing it. Bailey, not so much....look at her go!
Getting ready to go across the bridge. Now I am not afraid of heights and this bridge was unnerving to me. The big gaps, the rain made everything wet, and the ground was super far below us. I was fine until I realized my shoes had no traction, the wood was slippery and I have no upper body strength. If I slip I am going to sit there dangling waiting for someone to help me out. Now go ahead and picture that LOL
I LOVE the smile on his face! He is having a great time!
Having a great time!
Bailey! They are getting longer and higher up. Doesn't stop anyone from jumping straight down and loving the ride!
Look how cute my family is. Just 1/2 of us, but still!
I should have handled the camera off so I could get pictures of me on this zipline, but you can't deny....they look like they are having a great time huh?!
While the guides prepared lunch we had the option to jump into the pond and play in the waterfall. Nathan didn't even hesitate. Bailey and I did not join him.
Bailey did think about it, but backed out after she watched everyone jump in and then start shaking their lower lip, apparently the water was cold.
Nathan chilling in the water....
Lunch! Yum!
One more picture before the final zip line. KING KONG!
Nathan and I raced on this one. I lost, but that's okay. It was still super fun!
This picture is of Bailey racing another girl in our group
I love this picture! She is a pro by this point!
And more smiles from the one that was the most afraid
Turns out this was Bailey and Nathan's favorite thing we did this trip. We all had a great time! Thanks Stevie and Deb (our guides)!
That afternoon we went shopping in a local fair type event with the grandparents. What a fun place to get souveniers!
He is lucky he didn't buy this!
This one I thought was funny though!
On our way back from shopping we stopped at the lighthouse on the North shore.
I think this is the first picture of us where I actually can see that we really do look a lot of like. Plus I love the background!
Bailey wanted to look through Grandma's binoculars to check for whales. Grandma is quite the character, makes me laugh!
We stayed there long enough for the sun to go down hoping to see the sunset, but it was behind the mountain.
I had been looking for dice to play as a family each night. So we stopped at a gas station and found these. Shrimp flavored chips. If you can't tell by her face, we did not buy them.

Oh how I think a Zip line would be the ultimate in torture and fun. I will just have to live vicariously through you and believe it was great.
