18. Yesterday I spent the day with my Mom making Christmas gifts for those we love. I got to her house at 10 AM and didn't leave until almost 8 PM. We talked about all kinds of things and I really enjoyed it. I could easily turn this post into a "My Mom is the best" kind of post, but I have something in mind for that on another day. Today I just was thankful for that kind of day. Dad made us a yummy dinner. Christmas gifts were being prepared like crazy. The kids were not home, so no need to worry. And although Sunday is my laundry day....I never even thought about how it was going to take me all week to get caught up. It was a very productive day that was at the same time a sanity saver. Thanks Mom for helping me prepare for the week with a day that left me feeling nothing but content!

That sounds like a nearly perfect day. So productive and wonderful, just spending the time with your mom.
