3. I am thankful for Our Health
Too many times this year I heard of loved ones who are battling cancer or friends/family who have loved ones of their own with the same battle. Cancer Sucks! There is a reason so many say it. It is heartbreaking what it does to a person. So today I'm thankful that my family is healthy and so willing to support the ones who need it most!
I'm thankful that my sweet Courtney seen this nastyness and decided to do what she could to help. She has made bracelets out of duct tape this year and raised a large amount of money that was donated to people fighting this battle. I am very proud of her! If you want one of her bracelets she sells them for $2 and all the money goes to the cause.
And most of all I am thankful that we haven't lost the ones we love to this nasty disease. That they are hanging on and fighting this battle!

AWE!!! You raised some good kids! Seriously! And cancer does suck. To know people who have had it and have battled it is difficult. Knowing that it is lurking around the corner for anyone is very real and very scary. Thank god for science that scientists and doctors are constantly trying to find a way to battle this awful illness.
Yeah for Courtney! Doing what she can to help fight the horribleness that is "the C word". Yes, thankful for our health indeede!
