Thankful For Our Safety

2. I am thankful for Police Officers and their families

 

I don't think it is a surprise to anyone that The Schafer's have taken a huge interest in Law Enforcement.  It's not that we didn't always know it was there and respect it.  It's just that now we live it and know so much more.  Now when I see a Police Officer I instantly think how grateful I am that he or she is there.  Also that the family that stands behind them is supporting them in that decision.  It consumes the lifes of the LEO and their family.  Everything revolves around that career choice.  I know that no one reading my blog is guilty of this but I still have to say QUIT TAKING GRANTED!  They do a job you don't want for pay much less than they deserve!  I have met amazing people since Nathan took on this new career.  Police Officers and wifes.  I am very thankful for all of them!  The ones we are close to and the ones we just see on the streets.  Stay safe, we love you!
