6. Tonight I am proud to be American (everyday actually) but I am thankful for the small things that can make you laugh. Even when your mood has been foul all day.
About an hour ago I was sitting here talking to Nathan about the election. When this sweet boy walks down the stairs rubbing his chin like deep in thought and wearing this ridiculous mustache. I laughed so hard and it felt good! It made Landon bust up in a fit of giggles, and there really is no better sound than a child who is truly happy. Just typing these things makes me smile. So go ahead, look at that picture and tell me you can do anything but smile :)
