The first Saturday of every month my girlfriends and I do a craft day. We haven't done one since June because of everyone's busy schedules. We decided to do one for October and it turned out on the day of....no one could come! To be fair we put it together fairly quickly and there wasn't a lot of time to really buy the supplies or prepare.
I however did prepare and buy supplies! Craft day is always at my house, I don't have the option of not showing up. :) So while I was sitting there alone (Nathan was working and the kids were at their other parents), I realized I was a big girl and had the ability to do my craft all on my very own. I plugged in Vampire Diaries on netflix and made Frankie, the Halloween treat basket.
This basket is HUGE, much larger than any candy basket is ever meant to be. It was all they had at Hobby Lobby and I got him for only $4, so big is what Frankie is!
I was going to sit here and paint this entire LARGE basket. Nathan suggested spray paint. My first attempt of ever using spray paint, it turned out pretty good. He was right, it would have taken too much paint and would not have looked so good if I had tried to use craft paint instead.
The teeth are entirely too cute not to share an individual picture. I made them from foam and glued them to a painted popsicle stick. Cute huh?
This was a fairly easy craft. It didn't take near long enough for a day I was home alone. I do think he turned out pretty cute though!

I think it totally rocks that you made the craft anyway! I would have just put in a GOOD movie and closed my eyes to watch. :-) Frank looks fun, maybe I should make one for work.
