It has been one full week since Nathan and I surprised Tayler with her new bedroom and Landon with bunk beds. Landon has slept on the top bunk every night since. His cousin, Tenley, really wanted to sleep there as soon as she seen it. Nathan and I even had a discussion, there was no way Landon was going to allow that to happen! So after Tenley's birthday party yesterday, we invited her over for a sleepover. She normally stays in the girls rooms or if Nathans on graves she has been known to sleep in my bed. There was never a question where she was sleeping this time though, in Landon's room!
I snuck in about an hour after I knew they were asleep, I had to know who slept where!
I was a little surprised but not at all disappointed to learn that Landon was the gentleman he is quickly growing up to be. He opens the doors for his sisters and myself, he sets and clears the table without being asked, he picks his room up everyday, and he gives his cousin the top bunk (with the new Avengers sheets) because she really wanted to try it out.
Now I don't truly know how the decision was made who would sleep where. My suggestion had been they BOTH sleep on the top bunk. Those are very tiny bodies, they could have easily shared. For all I know they could have played rock, scissors, paper....but I am sticking with Landon bowed out and allowed his cousin the opportunity :)

As I sit here typing out this post, drinking my coffee and listening to those little monkeys in the room next door....I know it doesn't need to be said but here it is anyway, I really truly am blessed!
