Nathan's Fathers Day weekend was supposed to be spent up at Thistle. However, with the cost of gas being so high we decided to be a bit thrifty. We went and picked up an enclosed fire pit and camped in the backyard. It was a lot of fun and turns out I think we ended it in a way the kids will be talking about for years. You have to love these kinds of "dumb" memories!

And OF COURSE we had s'mores!
On to the camp out! Alright I promised you a "dumb" memory. It will stick with us for years! Remember the tent has no cover. We are at home, nothing to worry about right? Only if you have your sprinkling system set to go off Sunday morning at 3AM and forgot to turn it off! We ended up in the house soaking wet! We still had a great time though! Happy Fathers Day!
