Idaho Dance Competition

Courtney's amazing dance studio was invited to Idaho to compete. We had so much fun, so glad we were invited to do this!

My parents drove so Courtney and I got to watch movies on the way. Once we got to Idaho we had a full afternoon to ourselves! We went to twin falls

Courtney had to drop a penny, absolutely insisted!

We found out later that they had stopped the water, normally it is supposed to be a lot more. We didnt notice, we thought it was so pretty!

There was a lake on the other side of the hill, this was blocked off into a pool. Made my stomach drop to let Courtney sit here, but she was feeling brave.

So brave she wanted to walk around....but once she got there, she freaked out slightly

She HAD to do it though, we weren't allowed to leave until she accomplished this walk

There was no way I was going, but taking pictures....that I can do! I have to admit I was holding my breath the entire time. Glad my parents went with her!

When the walkway got thin, Courtney crawled tee hee!

I was proud she did this even though she was scared (I didn't dare!)

She made it! And was so happy!

My obsession anytime I leave Utah, scratch cards!

The next day was competition. Our director Marc taught a class to everyone competing. It was really fun to watch!

Courtney had a lot of fun with it, all the girls did!

Grandma would be so mad if she knew I was posting this! I didnt take a purse, just my backpack. She thought it was a novel idea after walking around in the heat haha. Her purse didnt quite work the same though.
