Yesterday we went to the zoo with Grandma and Grandpa. It was predator awareness day, so it was super packed but alot of fun! They have redone a lot of the zoo and it's pretty great! We didn't even make it all the way through, so I think we will be going again! PLUS if you go to Les Schwab they will give you tickets for one free child admission with the purchase of an adult. They are good through Sept 31st and you can use it for any child under 12....so what is stopping you? Go see the zoo!

The giraffes were very fun today...they were all over the place and seemed to like the attention (actually all of the animals we seen were this way)

Doesn't she just look like she is asking you "What are you looking at?"

We sat here and cheered her on for a long time....she never did reach the leaves. Boo :)

This was one of many new exhibits, reminded me a lot of Sea World. Great exhibit to see the seals!

Of everything we seen this day, the Polar Bear was by far the best! I am so glad they brought another Polar Bear to our zoo. My kids cried when the last one died.

We got to watch her enjoying her element. She was on land, in water, and OH so showing off!

She loves the crowds of people who gather around the window to watch her!

She would float on her back, swim under water and then come up right in front of the window, just to do it all again. Everyone was having so much fun watching her!

So sunny and warm, we are having so much fun!

Grizzly Bear Twins, they weren't together so we only got the picture of one. He was digging for something in the hole.

Have I ever mentioned my kids are posers? haha

Another fun exhibit...the sea otters!

I have to say, I am really proud of the pictures I got this trip. We got some great shots of these animals!

These animals are pretty cute too!

Because it was animal predator day there were volunteers all over the park wth different stations showing us different things you can find in Utah.

Another of my favorite pictures....the one was giving the other a "bath"

We so hoped this peacock would show off for us. He was not playing nice though.

Icecream Break! One of our favorite things at the zoo and it's affordable! They like the flavor bursts, I don't think they are wonderful...plain ole vanilla for me!

Another station...this guy was showing us the different paw prints and stools that predators leave so we can identify them and STAY AWAY! This was Grandma's favorite part and the guy had lots of information that was good to know.

Of course being my only boy Landon had to have a picture with his icecream in one hand a nice big pile of bear leftover in the other...just gross! But funny!

See! I am proud of my pictures! This guy just had no intention of doing anything but taking a nap. It was so cute to watch him cuddle under his blanket and then peek out at us.

Looking through the pictures I really can't believe how fun all the animals were. They normally are so bored with us. I have never seen the crocodiles do anything but lay like a log in the water....he was still as could be, but at least he wasn't in the water haha

Yep just like this guy!

I think we will be stopping by Les Schwab again soon and heading out to see the rest of the Zoo! What a fun day!
