Courtney wanted to make her own cake to serve the family on her birthday. She really did a good job and it was her very first time!
She even cracked her own eggs (again a first for her). I made her put them in a seperate bowl so if any shells fell in we could pull them out. However it wasn't necessary. She did great!
She did pick a harder cake for her first time. Fudge swirl. However that just made it more fun for her.
She was so proud of how it looked when it came out of the oven---we had to have a picture!
The finished product! Good Job, you did wonderful and it tasted great!

YUMMY!! The cake turned out AWESOME! I've never seen a swirl cake. Sad she is getting sooo big!
