Monday Oct 3rd-Camp Pendleton/Santa Monica Pier

Bailey wondering if she needs this hat for the beach....she decided for $17 it wasn't worth it haha
On Camp Pendleton....the hospital Tayler was born at almost 10 years later
Nathan and Landon at the Mechanized Museum
The Judge and The Jury
Jess and Mason
Courtney and Bailey being tough
Courtney reading a story about bringing the flag home...very touching and I love this picture
Private beach in Camp Pendleton
This picture of my kids and their cousin is one of my favorite from the trip. I am going to put it in black and white and blow it up for a frame in my hall (thanks Jess for the idea!)
Footprints in the sand
Bailey trying to get a picture with her name in the sand
but the ocean keeps wiping out her efforts
She got it!
And then it was gone! She actually got irritated with the ocean for being the ocean ha ha
1000 emotions in a simple photo
Washing the sand from our feet----everyone else was careful not to get too wet. Not Bailey, she was all about getting in there and getting clean!
After we left Pendleton we decided to find somewhere to eat. There were a lot of "Angelo's Burgers" up and down the streets so we decided to try it. These pictures we were almost certain would be of our last meal. The place was completely sketchy, but we did live and the food wasn't bad.
This was before the meal, so whatever that look on Mason's face is about it isn't from the food
Once the food did arrive, Landon had no complaints. Look at the size of that burger!!
SANTA MONICA PIER
One of the coolest things I have ever seen. You have to go if you ever get the chance!
Gorgeous Sunset
Jess found a photo booth and we had so much fun playing with it. Ended up with some great pictures out of those booths!
These guys are watching the replay of what went on in that booth
Look at that scenery....Love my pictures we walked away from on the Pier
That's right....that is Zoltar and Nathan on the pier. However Zoltar did not give us much other than "give me more money, I will give you more wisdom"
For dinner....Bubba Gump on the pier! Nathan and Jess were not impressed but the experience was pricesless. However I loved it!
Entertainment while we wait....Bubba Gump employees jumping rope with my kids
More posing from Bailey
Wow that is beautiful!
Nathan looking over the menu. It's dark now, looks like we have been waiting for a long time. It was actually only 10 minutes or so. The sun just went down fast!
Our waiter showing off his skills!
Bailey getting ready for her shrimp pasta.....love the sign next to her
Jess and Courtney eating at Bubba Gumps with the ocean behind them.
What a great day! I love Disneyland but Santa Monica Pier is one of the coolest things we seen this trip!
