On July 1st I went into the hospital for surgery. I was there until Monday July 4th and was finally able to come home. I will be out of work for up to 6 weeks recovery. This surgery was very unexpected and has knocked my family on their butts for the time being. As I was looking through the few pictures I had taken for the picture of day and trying to decide if I wanted to play "catch up".....I decided there was only one I needed to share. I will start fresh after that. Maybe being home and out of commission I will be able to find some extremely creative pictures of the day before returning to my real life....that is the hope anyway.
So this picture is a symbol of all the wonderful friends and family I have. I really want to say thank you to everyone who has taken time out of their busy schedules to be here for us during this time....whether it was to bring dinner, send flowers, stop by for a nice visit or simply send a text letting me know you are thinking of us. I love you all! The messages I have received have been very sweet and reminds me just how blessed I really am. This Clifford dog was brought to me at the hospital by my niece Tenley. She had dressed him up in her princess clothes and said she brought him to watch over me until I get better. She even told Nathan, "Nuncle Nate you make sure he stays safe and watches over Aunt Natalie." This is by far my favorite picture of the day so far!
