The whole trip was a surprise to no one---well except for his mom. We didn't tell her we were coming so when the kids knocked on her door she was in tears. Nathan's plan worked, she was definitely surprised!
Nathan's super cute niece, Isabelle. None of the babies ever choose Nathan over me...this one did! She would be so loving and cuddly with me, until Nathan walked in. She loved her Uncle Nate a lot right at the beginning!
I did get to feed her Thanksgiving dinner though

After the baby learned how to color Uncle Nate went shopping. Bought her a book and markers that won't color on anything but the special pages.

Nathan and his grandma. She lives on the same street as his mom so we were able to spend a lot of time w/her this week also.
Nathan's sister Heather and cousin Samantha were able to make it Saturday afternoon, right before we left. So we had a really good lunch that his mom made for everyone. It was a very nice send off. Hard to leave, but so ready to be home.
