Happy Birthday Tayler

Ok here's how it went, our 7 course 7 treasure all by candlelight meal. I didn't get near as many pictures as I wanted as the prep was insane! Nathan cooking, me serving...I will be to my moms later this week and steal some of hers I think! My mom wrote a poem for each step to make it just a bit more fun.

Tonight we will have a meal like no other, a goolish feast that will be served by your mother. Ghosts and goblins are within our sight, to with Tayler the best birthday tonight!

Tonight the menu will start with a drink, be sure not to spill....you might start to shrink. We don't know what's in it, it's called witches brew. It was made with frogs and spiders, especially for you!

Next you will have to find a clue, a clue that will tell you just what to do. Don't go too far, it will be very near...open the door and the clue will appear

It's not to eat now, just set it aside. Your curiosity will have to abide

Bat wings and hair from a toad, spider legs and beetles ala mode. Don't be scared, try everything here...the worst is yet to come I fear

Creepy and Crawly's are not good to eat. However, tonight it will be a real treat. Eat it all up and you will be thrilled...it doesn't wiggle around your lips or your gills.

Glad that is over and time to move on, find the item under what you would sit upon. It's not downstairs but right on this floor. Slither like a snake it might help you more...

Under the couch, her present from Derek, Jill and Tenley was hidden

Would you eat a worm or a spider or two? Don't be a scared, mom wouldn't do that to you! It's nothing like that just a plate with some grub. Oh, and maybe a BIG UGLY BUG!

(the kids devoured the bugs before I got any good pictures. But the spider web stayed pretty well intact)

Go down the hall and turn at the door. Go to the room with the rug on the floor. Ghosts and Skeletons hide in a closet. Don't get them wet if you turn on the faucet.

Don't cross a black cat on a Halloween night or be caught in the dark, it might cause you fright. Hear the floor creak, or a moan from a mummy....eat up children, It's all for your tummy!

How much more can you take? Some gooey dessert of monsters and snake? Is it a trick or is it a treat, it smells really good and is fun to eat!

If I were a monster and wanted to hide....not in a closet or in the cold outside. I'd snuggle under this with some toys and junk, probably in Taylers room I would bunk

What's a Birthday without candles and cake? It just wouldn't happen for goodness sake! So one more thing you will get to eat before the night ends of this special treat.

Are you getting tired and think you are done? The games not over and neither is the fun! Go to a closet somewhere in this house. Not with the Princesses but maybe Mickey Mouse?

We had such a great time! Took 3 hours to go through it all and everyone was exhausted and FULL! I'm so glad it turned out so well. Happy Birthday Ms. Tayler!!!!
