First day of school

This was a very sad day for me! Not only is Landon starting Kindergarten (I am so torn---on one hand he isn't a baby anymore, on the other hand I don't have any more babies!), but also Bailey isn't in Hayden Peak anymore. She has done her 7 years and is now on her way to Jr. High.

Courtney telling us goodbye. 4th graders get dropped off outside their doors and you leave. There wasn't any parents that got to hang around, so I guess I didn't feel too horribly pushed away.

Then we went to meet Landon's teacher and do a scavenger hunt in his class. He had such a grip on my leg until she told him that she had been Courtney's Kindergarten teacher also. That made him much more at ease. His first day isn't actually until 8/4 but we had lots of prep this last week. I think he will do great!
