We went to the Olympic Oval tonight, what a great time! I haven't been on ice skates since I was 10, Nathan never. We all had so much fun! If you haven't been I highly suggest taking your family. Very cheap but so much fun!
Here is the first set getting ready for the skating lesson, putting on skates
Ice skating lesson--it was only a 15 minute thing but taught the kids the basics like watch out for your hands when you fall, how to get up, how to stop, and where to find ice or bandaids if needed.
Bailey is the one with the big bow on her head that one of her friends brought just for this reason
I am ALWAYS behind the camera....somehow Nathan got hold of it for a minute, this is just to prove yes mom...even I really did it. (before everyone ask! Yes it is very hard, the look on my face was because they want me to hold up the baby as I am barely still standing on my own)
Landon struggled quite a bit...but by the end he was loving it!

And what a fun group they were! We sang Happy Birthday without much emotion the first time. I said how about again, this time with some rhythm...this is what I got
