It is time for fall T-Ball! We are the Orioles this season, so fun! Nathan enjoyed coaching so much last season, he is doing it again. We had 2 kids (a set of twins) on our team last year who's parents enjoyed Nathan's coaching skills so much, they rejoined with us this season. This time as the Assistant Coach.
One thing we are doing this time we have never done before is "VIP Game Balls." I love this idea!!! Each game the coaches pick out the kid who played the hardest, was the biggest team player, and had the most fun. Keeping in mind of course that by the end, all the boys need a turn---they are only 3 and 4 afterall. They then give that kid a signed VIP ball. These kids love this so much! They think it is so great and are very excited at the end of each game to see if they have earned it this time around. The parents are very grateful also. Lucky them, they got GREAT coaches this season!!!!

It is so funny to watch. Even though the coaches are trying to actually get the boys to stay in positions this year, they all huddle near the kid batting. They all want to be the first to catch the ball. We have one little kid on the team who understands he always gets action if he plays first. Smart kid!
Landon has improved so much since 2 seasons ago. His form isn't fantastic, but he is 4! Here is a clip of him actually hitting the ball from a pitch not the tee, and running to first. Way to go Landon!!! We will be there cheering EVERYTIME you do it!
